Encyclopedia of Levels, Difficulty Tiers & Obstacle Mechanics

As you journey deeper into Triple Match Relaxed, boards evolve from simple single-layer arrangements into intricate 3D architectural puzzles featuring organic environmental obstacles. This reference guide explains how level architecture scales and provides proven tactical solutions for every blocker and rescue mechanic in the game.

1. The Six Level Progression Tiers

Every handcrafted stage in Triple Match Relaxed belongs to one of six structural difficulty groups. Rather than relying on artificial timers to create challenge, our level generator adjusts three spatial parameters: total tile triplets, vertical stacking depth (Z-layers), and unique symbol variety.

Difficulty Tier Typical Tile Count Stack Depth (Z-Layers) Core Design Focus
1. Intro Sanctuary 18 – 36 Tiles (6–12 Trios) 1 – 2 Layers Onboarding core matching, 7-slot dock awareness, and gentle rhythm.
2. Easy Breeze 45 – 66 Tiles (15–22 Trios) 2 – 3 Layers Introducing overlapping corners and basic top-down excavation.
3. Normal Harmony 72 – 99 Tiles (24–33 Trios) 3 – 4 Layers Balanced spatial puzzles introducing seasonal environmental blockers.
4. Hard Contemplation 108 – 135 Tiles (36–45 Trios) 4 – 5 Layers High symbol diversity requiring 3-move lookahead and strict tray discipline.
5. Super Hard Mastery 144 – 171 Tiles (48–57 Trios) 5 – 6 Layers Deep central pyramids and interlocking obstacle combinations.
6. Expert Zen Grandmaster 180+ Tiles (60+ Trios) 6 – 8 Layers Complex multi-peak formations designed for seasoned spatial strategists.

2. Complete Guide to Environmental Blockers & Obstacles

Environmental blockers are special tile states inspired by nature. None of them punish you with a countdown clock; instead, each blocker invites you to sequence your picks and tray space thoughtfully.

❄️ 1. Frosted Ice Blocker (Gạch Đóng Băng — Thaws in Tray)

How It Works: Unlike standard board obstacles, an Ice Tile can be tapped and picked into your 7-slot holding tray as soon as no tile is resting on top of it. However, while encased in frost, it carries a 2-turn freeze counter (iceTurns: 2) and cannot merge into a trio yet—even if two other identical tiles are already sitting beside it in your tray!

How to Thaw & Clear: Every subsequent tile you pick from the board into your holding tray reduces the Ice Tile's freeze counter by 1 (accompanied by a gentle cracking frost animation). After you pick 2 more tiles, the ice shatters completely, and if two matching partners are present in the tray, the trio merges immediately. You can also tap a frozen tile directly inside your tray to inspect an interactive tooltip showing how many picks remain until it thaws.

Tactical Tip: Never pick an Ice Tile when your holding tray already has 6/7 slots filled unless the very next tile you pick completes a separate trio! Always leave at least 2 open buffer slots after picking an Ice Tile so you have room to make the 2 thawing picks.

🌸 2. Blooming Flower Blocker (Gạch Hoa Nở — 3 Dewdrop Waterings)

How It Works: A Blooming Flower tile rests on the board with a pink lotus badge displaying a countdown of 🌸 3. While the bud is closed, the tile is rooted in place and cannot be tapped directly.

How to Nourish & Clear: Each time you complete any valid 3-tile match in your holding tray, a luminous cyan Dewdrop Projectile (Tia Sương Mai) launches from your tray along a curved Bezier arc to water all Flower tiles currently sitting on the board, reducing their counter by 1 (`3 → 2 → 1 → 0`). After 3 matches, the flower blossoms into full bloom and vanishes, freeing the ceramic tile for normal collection.

Tactical Tip: Clear three surface trios early in the stage to send three waves of morning dew across the board, unlocking all Flower tiles simultaneously before you dig into deeper pyramid layers.

🎴 3. Golden Honey Mystery Card (Gạch Ẩn — Watercolor Reveal)

How It Works: Mystery Cards conceal their true painted motif beneath a warm golden-honey card face stamped with a glowing ? emblem whenever they are partially covered by upper-layer tiles or freshly exposed.

How to Reveal & Clear: The moment you remove the last tile resting on top of a Mystery Card so that it becomes completely unobstructed on the surface, it automatically triggers a Watercolor Spread (Loang Màu Nước) flip animation, revealing its hidden symbol right on the board before you even tap it!

Tactical Tip: Prioritize lifting tiles that sit directly above Mystery Cards so their symbols flip open early, giving you full information for your 3-move lookahead plan.

⛓️ 4. Locked Chain Tiles (Gạch Khóa Xích) & 🍯 5. Glue Pair Tiles (Gạch Keo Dính)

Locked Chain (Khóa Xích): Bound by an ornamental iron-and-brass chain across the face of the tile. Completing a match of adjacent uncovered tiles on the same layer shatters the chain clasp so the tile can be selected—or you can invoke the Adaptive Magnet booster to extract it directly.

Glue Block (Gạch Keo Dính): Two horizontally adjacent tiles bonded together by warm amber resin. When you tap either tile, both bonded tiles glide into your 7-slot holding tray together as a linked pair! Always verify that your tray has at least 2 empty slots before tapping a Glue Pair.

3. Mastering the Two-Tier Rescue System: Peaceful Wooden Shelf & Returning Breeze

One of the most beloved strategic safety nets in Triple Match Relaxed is our Two-Tier Rescue Architecture, designed to keep you in a state of calm focus even on Super Hard and Expert stages:

Grandmaster Golden Rule: Treat the 2-slot Peaceful Wooden Shelf as a "strategic reserve," not a permanent storage bin. Re-integrate and clear tiles from the Wooden Shelf as soon as their matching pair appears on the main board so those 2 slots remain open for emergencies later in the stage.
